Description
Over this last long weekend, my housemate and I went on an Astrophotography social camp up to a small town, Goomalling, an hour and a half away from Perth, Western Australia with the ACLG (Cosmic Landscape Photography Group of WA).
The second night unfortunately had thick clouds covering the night sky and there had been storms earlier in the day so our plans were changed and instead of going to the salt lake, we went to the "Dollies" dome shaped grain silos for some fun ad experimentation with light painting with a member of the club who specialises in the art.
For this effect, the person taking us through lightpainting was swinging around burning steel wool. Note: Do not try this at home or in any area that is fire-prone. In the past, he had severely burnt his arm.

That's a beautiful effect (scary, though!)
